POSITION
The Department of Economics, Management, and Quantitative Methods (DEMM) is seeking candidates for one post doc Research Fellow in Finance
Starting Gross Salary 21,000 euros approximately.
Duration: 24 months
Starting date to be agreed upon with the candidate, but no later than July/August 2023.
REQUIREMENTS
To apply for this position, the candidate should possess a PhD in Finance or Economics or relevant subjects or will obtain one by Summer.
Knowledge of language: Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are required (knoweldge of italian is NOT required)
CANDIDATE PROFILE
The research area of this post includes empirical corporate finance, banking, behaviour of institutional investors, and the effect of policies on financial markets and firms. The successful candidate will be required to analyse relevant and current problems from the perspective of policymakers and practitioners in financial markets, in line with the interests of the research group. The research will rely on econometric techniques and impact evaluation methodologies.
Teaching is not a mandatory component of this post, however, (limited) opportunity for this activity could be arranged, should the successful candidate be interested in developing this aspect of their CV.
